  • Current Lessons - We are currently offering the lessons shown below, starting Mar 30th for 5 weeks
    • Beginning Lindy - Lindy Hop is bread and butter of Swing Dancing!
      • Pre-Req: none
      • Times: 17:30:00-18:30:00
    • Blues 2 - A slow dance which focuses on partner connection and musical nuance.
      • Pre-Req: Blues 1
      • Times: 17:30:00-18:30:00
    • Fast Dances - This fun class will teach you a little of everything- Balboa, Collegiate Shag, and Fast Charleston!
      • Pre-Req: Lindy
      • Times: 16:00:00-17:00:00
    • Line Dances - Learn our favorite group dance- the Jitterbug Stroll, Shim Sham, and Smiley's Charleston!
      • Pre-Req: None
      • Times: 16:00:00-17:00:00
  • Cost - Our next 5 week session of lessons.
    • Early Bird Discount - Signup ONLINE or at a Wednesday Meeting.
      • Single - $20
      • Couple - $35
    • Day of Class - Come 15 Minutes Early and Signup at the class you wish to take
      • Single - $25
      • Couple - $40
  • Signup - Club Online Signups are OVER. You must signup 15 min early at class


  • When Lessons Happen - We usually have 2 sessions of lessons per semester. Each session lasts 5 weeks. You can check the calendar for more information about when a new session starts.
  • Where Lessons Happen - Lessons are held in War Memorial Gym in the Dance Room.
  • Lesson Info:
    • Location - War Memorial Gym
    • Partner - Our lessons do not require a partner, although it is nice to have a regular partner to dance with. There are lots of singles that show up and there is usually a good ratio of guys to girls.
    • Pre-Reqs - Many of our lessons require no dance experience, but some require do require dance experience as denoted by Pre-Req's listed with the lessson.
    • Shoes - Sometimes our lessons are held on professional dance floors which are sensitive to shoes that leave marks, we ask that you wear clean white-soled shoes, dance shoes, or socks.
    • Clothing - We reccomend cool clothing! It may be 20F outside, but inside War Memorial it will feel like 100F. Wearing shorts or cool clothing under your warm layers.
    • Rotating - In lessons partners are not required because every few minutes we switch partners. This allows you to dance with multiple people and get input from different people to enhance your lead or follow.
