So it looks like Gary and I will be moving the weekend of Friday the 23rd. I know that the Halloween Dance is that Saturday. Anyone that is able to help, we would greatly appreciate it.

Gary and I will be providing food and drink for all that can help. So if there is a special request, let us know (there have already been requests for Mac & Cheese and meatloaf as a main dish).

    Thanks!

    And yet again, plans change.

This time I am not going to schedule the move, let's try and let it develop organically.

Right now, we are supposed to close sometime before 2pm on Wednesday. Once we close, I'll send out and email, post here and call everyone.

    Sigh.

Keep your fingers crossed for us.

    We bought a house.

    Which is awesome.

We have to be out of our current place by Saturday night.

    Which is not so awesome.

I am going to EBC tomorrow late afternoon.

    Even less awesome (for Gary).

So here is the new deal. Gary is going to start moving tonight after work. He has a van that needs to go back to Roanoke tomorrow (Friday) evening. Currently it is loaded with boxes. The main move will happen on Saturday when Gary has reserved a 26 foot truck for the furniture. There will also be at least one pickup truck and one Jeep Cherokee. We are hoping that this part of the move happens in one fell swoop due to the rain forcasted for that day.

Anyone that can help will be appreciated. The bribe is going to happen on November 8, after lessons. Gary will be cooking for everyone that has helped with the move (Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday) or with the First Lego League thing that he is doing. He decided that he will not be able to cook on this weekend due to the fact that the move is not happening in the orderly fashion that we had hoped and since I will not be there to help with co-ordinating at one house or the other.

Please give him a call at 540-793-4138 or email at gbdooley@gmail.com if you are interested in helping.

Thanks to everyone that has already promised and then had to be told last minute that it wasn't happening for the last two weeks. 3rd times the charm, right?

    Eek.
