Can Shy Guys Dance?

Just so you know, most dancers used to be incredibly shy people. I used to sit in the back and watch everyone dance. In fact, I barely danced at all at the first few dances I went to. Then I took some lessons. Two years later, I am teaching classes on swing dancing and have traveled to nearly every major dance scene on the east coast, and I've even danced in Hong Kong and Korea!
I guess the main bullet point here is, ABSOLUTELY! Come out on Friday nights and give it a shot. The worst that could happen is you might have fun! You don't know what it's like until you try, and the fact that you're familiar with the music as a musician means you'll definitely pick things up faster.
