Hey so I'm starting this topic because I figure it's going to keep going. :)

I have one note about the waiver. Do not think that a waiver will protect you in court. They do not. They can help, but in law they do not hold up completely.

Just remember that we should prevent any liability (such as airsteps) on our dance floors.

I also hope that we release this new system as a complete product before we start it.
I like the idea too! I know the pain of transferring 50 names onto the listserv....

    That's just my 2 cents.

I plan on having something presentable for tonight. If anyone has more experience using MS Access than me... I would appreciate your input.

And if anyone has suggestions for improvements etc... put it down.

As far as the waiver, we didn't even have the waiver sheet at the dance on Saturday, and no one could have known that they were signing away our liability. However, the current plan is to have the waiver on the form when people sign in and put a check box or something.

Just so you know, there should be a whole bunch of waivers in the green file folder that goes at the front table for dances.
