    We should most definitely organize concurrent wearing of our VT stuff. Pick a dance to wear Orange Effect shirts and another for the club shirts. Maybe we could just pick one dance since it may be in our best interest to change shirts half way through or something. Holla--VT Swing is tha shizzit.

    So I think that I have convinced an old friend to go to Lindy Focus. He is currently in California, but he used to dance with me in NYC and was in a performance group with Dave Graybill called the Grit Grinders (they were the first people that I ever saw do the Big Apple).

    He is not sure yet, but I was wondering if everyone could just keep me informed about sleeping arrangements. He's not sure if he wants to stay with people from Cali or with us, he's trying to find out who is going from his neck of the woods.

    Corinne, if you're the one I'm thinking of, I've sent you an facebook msg. If it's a different Corinne, but part of the Blacksburg scene let us know so you can get in on the group housing. Hurry, as spots are very limited and down to 2 out of 25, I believe.

    I don't have a partner yet for air steps but I'm also not 100% sure I can go. The Advanced Performance track also requires a partner. :-/

    Housing, send an email IMMEDIATELY to Karen Pilat. Transportation? Where will you be coming from? I think that people might be congregating in B'burg the day of and heading down there after figuring out carpooling options.

    Where can I obtain contact information for Karen Pilat? I assume I just need to inform her that I hope to attend and need housing.

    I live in Northern Virginia. I have a car which I could drive. However, I can not starting from Northern Virginia, drive the entire way down to Asheville. Depending on what is needed, I could probably offer rides to anyone who would be willing to drive a portion of the way if that is necessary. Whatever is most convenient for everybody else works for me. (especially since I am so late in coming in and probably interfering with established plans, which I apologize for.)

    Alternatively, I have been talking with a friend of mine from UVA, and may be able to attain transportation with her and a few of her friend. However, she is still uncertain as to whether or not she is going so I am not sure how feasible this option is.

    Actually, Karen's housing is full and can't anymore, with several people already on the 'waiting list' in case people forget to pay. But email her so she'll have everyone's email for announcements.

    I live in Richmond, but I'm not sure what my family's holiday plans are just yet to be sure if I could give you a ride myself. The Richmond area's swing dance group is The Usual Lindy Suspects.
