About Solely Swing

Club Meetings

We have meetings every Wednesday from 7:30 - 10:00 in GBJ 102 (the building with Burger King in it). We have free dancing, learn new moves, and work on choreography at these meetings. We welcome anyone who is remotely interested in swing to come and experience this wonderful activity. If you're interested in how the club works, or just want your opinions heard, you can come at 6:00 for the business part with the officers present.

Solely Swing is a student organization at Virginia Tech. We dable in many things related to swing dancing. We teach lessons, we perform shows, we hold dances, we have socials, and more. In the past we've gone on hiking and kyaking trips together, we've gone to movies, we've had potlucks, and just plain had fun together. We are not just a club, we are friends and community.

We are a welcoming bunch of people that are brought together by our desires to dance and our creative energies to make our club great. Please see our calendar and join us at some of our events.
