Solely Swing celebrates Valentine’s Day!

As if all that isn’t enough, you can show up earlier and catch four smokin’ swing workshops! Instructors are VT alumnus Zhalgas “Z” Adilov and DC’s own Aba Browning. Don’t miss the chance to learn with these talented and stylish instructors!
We are also going to have a Photo Booth to take your picture either with a friend or a special someone!
The Band:
We’re thrilled to have Slow Blind Hill playing at this event. SBH is a swing/blues band from Knoxville, Tennessee, and they’re one of our favorites! Check them out at their website: www.slowblindhill.com
Costs:
Online sign-ups are coming soon and are cheaper! If you sign-up online, each workshop will cost $10 and all four will cost $35. Click here to sign-up!

Lunch: 12:45 – 2:15 PM
Slow Dancing Magic & Trickery 2:15 – 3:15 PM Solo Charleston: 3:30 – 4:30 PM
**Beginner Lessons: 7:00 – 8:00 PM Valentine’s Dance: 8:00 – 12:00 AM Late Night Blues: 12:30 AM onward **Yes, we are having two beginner lessons! If it’s your first time dancing, get to know swing with some simple East Coast. If you’ve had your fill of the basics, you can take an introduction to Blues instead. Both lessons are free!

The late night will be held at Jae’s apartment. It’s starting at 12:30. Jae lives in Foxridge and directions will be given out at the dance. Please bring food to share and / or donations for snack food.
